This race will finish at the top of Old Willunga Hill with the riders passing through Willunga’s High Street five times, plus five times along Main Road and three times along the Aldinga Road. Staying in Willunga for the weekend will give you the opportunity to enjoy all that our region has to offer with the added benefit of a central location for viewing the race on Saturday and Sunday. Best Dress Town Competition

Each year the Tour Down Under brings tens of thousands of visitors to Willunga and it is streamed via TV coverage to many more around the globe. What a great way to showcase our town! Each year we decorate the town to really make it stand out, for the visitors on the ground and the riders and camera crews along the race route. You can get involved by decorating your house or business and be in the running to win some great prizes, courtesy of Santos and Tour Down Under. Details on judging criteria and prizes can be found here: TDU Best Dress Town Competition

You can also get involved in decorating the town. We are looking for bike rims, which we will decorate to hang around the town. Decoration of Willunga’s High Street, Old Courthouse and Rec Park will take place on Friday 24 January.

Please contact Heather Williams on 0434 069 993 if you can assist with rims or time or both!
